Meet Karen

Fed up with the fact that puppy mills still exist in the state of Wisconsin, Karen established Talk Dog To Me in 2022. A professional petsitter and owner of Karen's K9 Pet Care, LLC, she is passionate about animals. Karen loves nothing more than connecting with dog owners and advocates: "Nothing brings me more joy than when people 'Talk dog to me!' "

Do your research. Do not buy dogs from pet stores, internet ads, or advertisements. Before you buy from breeders, verify that they are USDA and DATCP licensed.

Better yet: adopt from a local rescue organization!

Contact Your Legislators

Reach out to your state representatives and senators to express your support for stronger laws to protect animals from exploitation in commercial breeding facilities.

Join Advocacy Groups

Get involved with animal welfare organizations, advocacy groups and animal rescues in your community that are working to end puppy mills and promoting responsible pet ownership.

Spread Awareness

Raise awareness in your community about the importance of legislative action to end puppy mills. Encourage others to get involved. Pick up your free Talk Dog To Me "End Puppy Mills" sticker at our next event to help keep the conversation going.
